Very exciting! I don’t suppose Adobe has shared its secrets so we can also use Fullpress’ FPO printing with transparent elements in InDesign…

On a separate note: can users like me start discussion topics on this temp wordpress site or should I just wait until the real site is back online?

    Hi David,
Yes, you can start discussion topics. Since our website is being reworked by someone with a different fulltime job, it may be more than a month till we have it done.

In the meantime, this WordPress site works just fine so let’s use it.

We’ve already gotten a bunch of spam comments so I set the site to require approval by me when you make your first posting. Once I approve you, you can post regularly without admin intervention.

How long until Picture Wrangler for CS4 is released? I know the thinking is that PDF IR 2.0 abrogates the need for PW, but my customers use the re-linking feature *all the time*. Picture Wrangler isn’t just for image-replacement workflows: all Xinet users can benefit.

Hi everyone. Same question as “rlarsen”. Re-linking images is a necessary feature! Not an option! Working without Picture Wrangler is painful! :-( (((

  • Hi, I asked the same question of Xinet Technical Support last night, here’s the reply:

“We are exploring options for relinking in InDesign CS 4, but I don’t have any estimate on when that might be available. In the meantime, I have attached you to the feature request (FR 11191) so you will be automatically notified of updates.
Please let us know if you have further questions on this, or need anything else.”

TPI have said that they will discuss with Scott Seebass today, he’s over in the UK at the moment.

    Andy.
